Ford Mocks Trump Order Renaming Lake Ontario

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is mocking President Trump's reported executive order to rename Lake Ontario "Lake America," comparing the move to a Saturday Night Live sketch. Ford's remarks come as the latest flashpoint in the often-tense relationship between the Trump administration and Canadian officials over sovereignty and border issues. The White House has not yet issued further comment on the reported order, and details on its scope and implementation remain unclear. Critics north of the border have seized on the story as an example of what they call overreach, while supporters of the president say it reflects his willingness to challenge conventional norms. BreakFirst will continue to follow developments as more information becomes available from official channels.
