The IDF reports it struck and dismantled a structure in Jabalia used by Hamas' military wing as an ambush position and weapons storage site, eliminating several terrorists. According to the IDF, the position was roughly 50 meters from the Yellow Line and posed a direct threat to troops operating under the ceasefire agreement, while sitting just 70 meters from Kamal Adwan Hospital and 170 meters from a school. The military says Hamas had recently used the site to plan attacks on IDF forces and to rebuild its military capabilities. The IDF calls this further evidence of Hamas' systematic exploitation of civilian and humanitarian infrastructure, in violation of both the ceasefire agreement and international law. Officials say precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used beforehand to reduce risk to civilians.
