Israel War Room: NYC-funded puppet show turns anti-Israel

The account Israel War Room posted on X that a New York City-funded children's event, the "Cardboard Pizza Puppet Circus," turned into what it described as an anti-Israel display within 15 minutes. According to the post, performers reenacted a Gaza flotilla scene and leveled accusations that Israel had attacked hospitals. The account called the incident "truly sick," highlighting concerns about taxpayer-funded programming allegedly being used to push anti-Israel narratives to children. BreakFirst has not independently verified the claims made in the post. The report adds to a string of similar accusations from pro-Israel watchdog accounts regarding public and cultural institutions in New York City. No response from event organizers or city officials was included in the post.
