The NYPD on Tuesday released new surveillance video showing suspects wanted in a July incident in which feces and motor oil were hurled at two Queens synagogues, police said. Investigators said the same two suspects targeted Young Israel of Holliswood on Francis Lewis Boulevard and Young Israel of Jamaica Estates on 188th Street in an apparent coordinated act of vandalism against Jewish institutions. The footage is intended to help identify and locate the individuals responsible. The incident is the latest in a string of attacks and acts of vandalism against synagogues and Jewish communal buildings that have alarmed local Jewish residents amid a broader rise in antisemitic incidents nationwide. Authorities have not yet announced any arrests. Police are urging anyone with information about the suspects' identities or whereabouts to come forward as the investigation continues.
