Poll: Trump Tops GOP's Most-Admired Presidents List

CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten is reporting new polling that shows President Donald Trump remains the runaway favorite among Republicans when asked which GOP president they admire most. According to the survey highlighted by Enten, 53% of Republicans named Trump, dwarfing Ronald Reagan at 18% and Abraham Lincoln at 8%. Enten described the gap as a "historic comparison," noting how firmly Trump has cemented his grip on the party's base even amid years of relentless media criticism and legal battles. The numbers suggest that, despite predictions from Trump's opponents that his influence would fade, rank-and-file Republicans continue to view him as the party's defining figure, well ahead of icons like Reagan and Lincoln in current sentiment.
