Report: PA Schools Held Assemblies Glorifying Oct. 7 Massacre

Palestinian Media Watch is reporting that at least 11 Palestinian Authority schools held assemblies celebrating Hamas's October 7 massacre of Israelis. According to the watchdog group's findings, a PA schoolboy was recorded praising the attack as a "historic day that brought us joy" and one that "restored our hope." The report alleges these assemblies form part of a broader pattern of PA educational institutions glorifying terrorism and the killing of Jews and Israelis. Israel War Room, which circulated the report on X, called the findings disturbing evidence of what children in PA-run schools are being taught. The claims add to long-standing criticism from Israeli officials and pro-Israel watchdogs that PA curricula incite hatred and celebrate violence against Israelis, a charge the PA has previously denied.
