Trump Calls CIA Director's Russia Visit 'Semi-Routine'

President Trump is downplaying his CIA director's visit to Russia, describing the trip as 'very sort of semi-routine' business, according to remarks reported Thursday. Trump added, 'I hate to disappoint people,' suggesting the visit carries less intrigue than some speculation has implied. The comments come amid heightened scrutiny of U.S.-Russia contacts and ongoing questions about the direction of the administration's Russia policy. Details on the specific purpose of the CIA director's trip have not been fully disclosed, and the White House has not released an extensive readout of the visit. BreakFirst will continue to track developments as more information becomes available from administration officials and other sources familiar with the matter.
