Trump posts AI video showing Iran's Kharg Island destroyed

President Trump posted an AI-generated video on Truth Social depicting Iran's strategic Kharg Island being "blown to smithereens." The oil terminal, one of Iran's most critical energy export hubs, was shown being obliterated in the fabricated clip, though no such strike has actually occurred. The post comes amid heightened tensions between the U.S., Israel, and Iran, with Trump repeatedly signaling that Tehran's energy infrastructure could be a target should hostilities escalate further. It remains unclear whether the video was intended as a warning, a piece of psychological messaging, or simple provocation. BreakFirst notes the video is AI-generated and does not reflect any confirmed military action against Iran's oil infrastructure at this time.
