Trump vows strong response after attack on US forces

President Trump said the U.S. will respond forcefully after Iran's regime was blamed for a strike on American forces stationed in Jordan. "We're going to hit them hard. There's going to be a response," Trump said, according to a post shared on X. The remarks come amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, with Iran-backed militias increasingly targeting U.S. troops across the region. No further details on the timing or scope of a potential American response were given in the post.
