Unconfirmed footage shows floodwaters nearing Nepal from China

Unconfirmed reports circulating online claim that footage from the Chinese side of the border shows severe flooding roughly four kilometers from a Nepal border checkpoint, shortly before floodwaters allegedly crossed into Nepalese territory. The origin and authenticity of the video have not been verified, and no government agency or established news outlet has confirmed the scale or location of the flooding. Social media users forwarding the clip say it points to a fast-moving disaster along the frontier, but BreakFirst cannot independently confirm these details at this time. Residents and authorities in the region have not yet issued official statements. We will update this story as verified information becomes available from Nepalese or Chinese officials.
